So if Third party apps and cheating are a punishable offense and bannable.

Then why does riot allow and saction third party app usage and cheats?

So noticed recently a huge increase in adds on Youtube for Third party apps that show players Names And stats of players on both sides, and who they main and Also gives them information on who to ban during Champion select?

I mean shit i can't go one damn Youtube video from one person saying they were sponsered by one of these Third party apps that show all this information giving people a huge edge in ranked game play.

I know riot has to notice these, and with them so highly advertised it seems like riot has given these third party apps the OK to do so.

So whats the verdict Riot?

"So if Third party apps and cheating are a punishable offense and bannable."

Pretty sure this is more referring to scripts and the like. Things like overwolf and mobalytics aren't really cheating. Information like player stats is pretty easily attainable.

Because you shouldn't be able to do that in ranked.. Matches as riot points out are designed to be 50/50 (granted that is a joke) but still gives a huge unfair advantage for those who don't use it and those who do.
