I feel like this game realy punishes you for trying to do a play and prices those who only stand there under turret. How many times have I tried to do a play with zed, yasuo, akali and only to get out damaged, cc'd and killed.
And when I play a champion that only requires you to stand like a zombie and farm without doing anything I somehow end up winning my lane.

EndlessSorcerer1 votesChampions are balanced around the highest level of play. Mobile and mechanical champions generally sacrifice a certain amount of reliability and raw power for in exchange for their versatility.
Considering you are in Silver 4, it is quite likely that you aren't using the champions properly or to their full potential.
Basically, you are failing when trying to play champions you can't use properly.
You perform better on simpler champions when you can't screw up mechanically.
