Champions every patch get changes but sometimes champions are so hard nerfed they are completely unplayable in a competitive atmosphere (ie. Kindred). While others are so strong they tend to get banned out every game but never receive any sort of balancing (ie. Zed, Akali). And I cannot help but wonder why its taking so long to correct them? Kindred even when ahead you feel somewhat worthless, and Akali can build 2 complete defensive items with sacrificing damage, bursting down targets. In that regard, I still think the Gunblade/Lich combo is to strong. Anyways balancing stronger champions just doesn't occur. And there is no reason as to why these champion never receive any worthwhile nerfs, much less was to why champions can remain so weak for years. Champions that are seemingly balanced get nerfs out of no where, while vayne gets a buff? Why not just lock in a champion as the standard then adjust accordingly. Instead we get patch updates that go back and forth constantly making league a flavor of the month game. Why can we just play the champions we want without getting worries of "balance" changes? With how things are currently there is over 100 champions, but one 20-30 are ever viable picks. With skill you can compensate, but your always gonna be at a disadvantage unless you just happen to counter. Yet champions like Zed get pera-banned never get a scratch? To put into scale, the last time zed was changed in any meaning full way never, sure he got a tweaks, but never a legitimate nerf.

Zed isn't perma-banned (save for KR because of Faker), and nor is he broken. He's the most balanced assassin out of the whole roster rn. And the assassin rework was a HUGE fucking nerf. He lost the extra AD on his W for LESS AD on his ulti, which required a successful kill on an ADC, which could result in either wasting your ult and dying, wasting your ult and escaping, getting the AD and dying, or getting the AD and just barely escaping. It isn't even worth. Even before that, a huge nerf was to his W and R (not together). His W CD was increased, and the time it takes for him to switch back to his R shadow was delayed by 1 second. He's been getting nerfs after nerfs, and the W+AS buff was his first in a LONG time. He's banned a lot (not perma-banned) not because he's broken (because he isn't), but because people are shit at countering him.

Every nerf has been patched by a buff, thou not always directly. And as far as balanced, only when compared to other assassin is he somewhat on par even weak. But his kit can make up for it making him more reliable and safe pick. Also I don't consider hard cc a valid counter.

Also I don't consider hard cc a valid counter.

Then you confirmed my suspicions about having no idea about how to play as or against Zed. Ignorance is fatal. Maybe that's why you get shat on by Zed all the time. [slayer-jinx-wink] I'm not going to bother explaining how fucking wrong you are about that.

False again. I've seen his patch-history, and he has more nerfs than buffs. Indirectly or otherwise. Try again.

Only when compared to other assassin is he somewhat on par even weak.

Not just other assassins. Midlane in general. He had one of the lowest winrates before the Lethality "rework". I think he was in the top 10 for a good two-three patches.

His kit can make up for it making him more reliable and safe pick.

???? Reliable and safe in what sense? That he can poke fairly decently in lane? That he can dodge abilities (like an assassin SHOULD)? He's literally one of the worst picks against a team with a lot of CC (falling back to your retarded statement about hard cc not being a valid counter), and falls off mid-game if his team can't close out the game by then. If he falls behind even a little bit, it's incredibly hard for him to get to a decent spot.

Try to actually understand how to play and counter Zed, then come back to me.

Hard cc can never be considered a method of balance, it's just terrible balancing practice. So I'm afraid, you lack understand what i mean when i say CC cannot be considered as a valid counter, but to move things along, agree to disagree? False again. I've seen his patch-history, and he has more nerfs than buffs. Indirectly or otherwise. Try again. Every debuff has been balanced with a later buff. And the nerfs that do happen, where hardly impact-full. At most it just meant he needed more more level before he could all in. Lethality being one of the worst iteration of him. He had one of the lowest winrates before the Lethality "rework". That's just a bunch of flavor of the month players than are not very good giving him a shot. Some champions play better than the win rate suggest, it just they are difficult, so new players bring that win rate down. Which is especially true is the champions are the one hit wonders like zed, riven, yas, that have higher difficulty. Also, lethality is just broken right now, no two ways about it. Reliable and safe in what sense I'm speaking of his high mobility and abilities to get in and out of sticky situations. On top of which he doesn't have a one dimensional build, so he can build straight assassin, or get a little more tank with black cleaver. And his build won't suffer to much if he has one full tank item too, vs soft squishy targets he still god so long as you can actually land abilities (called skill shots for a reason). Try to actually understand how to play and counter Zed, then come back to me I do, I play against zed all the time, I've played as him, so I know how easy it so dive a team kill someone and get out. You give him far to much credit as a champion.

You have Mastery 5 on him. You don't get to claim having more knowledge about how to play him.

CC literally fucks up Zed's combo once he ults. If he's CC'd, he can't damage anyone, but is vulnerable enough to get melted down. If you try to go in on an ADC when they're near their support or tank, you'll get CC'd and Goosh Goosh'd. [zombie-brand-facepalm] What do you mean "hardly impactful"? They literally destroyed his assassination pattern and laning phase up until now.

That's an invalid argument. So I guess Janna wasn't strong before her changes, but just people were winning more. Got it. Lethality isn't overly broken. It's extremely strong (especially on Talon), no doubt, but it's not broken like Janna or Ardent were.

HE IS AN A S S A S S I N FFS. HE IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE MOBILITY AND ABILITIES TO MOVE IN AND OUT OF SITUATIONS. Even then, he's extremely predictable. If he puts his W out before he ults, he's going to go TO that shadow. If he puts his shadow out late, he's trying to distract you so that he can switch there while you're focusing your efforts on him. You're literally complaining that an assassin has a kit to assassinate. Fucking retarded point. Next. He doesn't build BC anymore, because it doesn't give that much damage. For tank, the best you can build is Maw/Steraks, or GA. And once again, HE IS AN A S S A S S I N, HE IS SUPPOSED TO KILL SQUISHIES. [zombie-brand-facepalm] If you play against him all the time, I'm sure that's why you get shat on so much. And clearly you do not know how easy it is, because it isn't, when Tristana is the popular ADC and can just ult you away and jump away, and Lulu can polymorph you, or Cho can knock you up and silence you and chomp you into oblivion. I give him credit because I have more experience. I know HOW to play against him and how to play AS him.

I like the back and forth we got going one, maybe someday some will join. Anyways, the fact you bring up mastery shows how little you know. Mastery has never been a weight of skill, all it shows it that you played that champion enough to get an S, my friend, people in bronze can do that. So I could have level 1 mastery and it just be as valid as someone with 7. Master does not equate to skill, at best its a tool to BM with. Also, I say it's "hardly impactful" because his patterns are still the same, he just cannot one shot at level 3 as easily as he used to. Still the same wrecking machine once you get six, lethality made sure of that. You also mentioned that he is an assassin, and so he ability to assassinate cannot be brought into question, he's also one of the safest champions to date still categorize as an assassin. He can get it, take out a target, and get out with little repercussions. He is in-fact to safe for being able to delete a champion, and get out safely. Most assassin have an all or nothing play style, but zed, if he fails he can use his "w" or "R" to get out. Leblanc also his this type of play stye but unlike zed her "jumps" are more noticeable in a big fight (big shining ring, compared to a black shadow), she also is a bit softer target (100 HP, 20 Armor and 30MR less then zed) so the gamble she takes is much higher. You also said "He doesn't build BC anymore", this is simply false, he can and will if the situation calls for it, the only reason you might see less use if because of lethality is still stronger to pick of soft target, but one it comes to tanks, that's a negative so items like BC can help, also providing CD so he ult is up when he needs to assassinate, and afterwards, his abilities comes back faster so as to rejoin the fight. And yes, I do play against him a lot, I'm usually counter-picked too since I main a champion he has an edge. And despite this I usually win lane, because as a melee champion, he is susceptible to poke pre-six. Doesn't help that some cannot land a skill shot to save their life (literally). Not because zed is weak, but because they play him like an idiot they lose lane. And even with that lose, 50% less cs even, still can assassinate a target. I've also play against my share of more skilled players and seen how they abuse him and his strengths and a true level of skill they display. And yes, some champions are harder to kill than others, yes cc is a thing, but there is also something called CD and timing and why do you think every squish target should equate to a free kill. You want a free game, go play cookie clickers. And every champion is susceptible to some degree of CC (except maybe olaf) So your point is completely invalid, why argue a point that every champion is susceptible too, that's not just a "weakness" of zed. Any you give him credit because your a Zed fanboy that doesn't like when his champion is talked down too. Not because you are good or experienced, but just because you play him a lot and your not even ranked, you play him at a Bronze 2 level, so you don't even play with him at a competitive level. Your just upset that your champions isn't supper OP favor of the months. So next time you think to look down on my experience and my level of mastery, don't because mastery doesn't equate to skill. Your B2 MMR is proof of that. So saying you know how to play with an as him, is a gross overestimate competitively speaking. [sg-lulu]
