You'd think with Dr. Mundo bans everywhere, people would complain about Shyvana
It's kind of weird that Shyvana hasn't been seen too much in the meta for awhile, when she is still quite a capable Champ to play as.
Her Q scales on AD (80-100%, 5% growth, Bonus Physical) and triggers on-hit effects, making it perfect for items like
and
. As Dragon Form, it hits all units in front of her, making for a nasty wave-clear in the right place.
Her W is slightly less effective than Dr. Mundo's W, dealing a little over half the base damage and having her bonus damage scale off of AD (with a higher value of 20% Bonus AD, compared to 10% AP on Dr. Mundo). While the damage is increased by 20% against monsters, it still deals quite a lot and makes it possible to solo a Gromp at Level 1. It also has an added bonus in its movement speed buff. To those that don't know, its duration (3 seconds) is increased when she attacks structures.
Her E is her less-useful ranged ability, especially because it scales off AP (which means it's quite ineffective unless you're building Hybrid). It applies on-hit Spell effects as AoE (except its Mark damage)...due to the fact she's mana-less, it's great for poking, but I wouldn't try to max this out unless you're going Hybrid or AP. A good thing about it though is its Mark, which gives her additional damage based on her targets' health (2.5% their max) as long as they're Marked.
Her R, on using it, has her dash a selected distance while carrying all enemies in it. Its own damage is 175-425 (growth of 125 per Rank) with its additional increase of 70% damage based on AP (which still only truly makes this useful when playing Hybrid). While in Dragon Form, she gains increased attack range and empowered abilities. It's also incredibly useful as a wave-clear or tower demo tool when you have high attack speed, since she can stay in this form indefinitely with 2.5. Though it has no cooldown, it's dependent on having 100 Fury to activate.
I know you didn't come here for a lesson on how Shyvana works (though listing information about her does make me feel like I'm actually doing something instead of complaining about something as trivial as nerfs). To me, Shyvana's been a faithful Jungler and very good at Top Laning...but I ask you viewers: do you think Shyvana is still worthy of being a Top Laner competitively?
