Adaptive helm vs Kog' Maw W
Anyone know how these 2 things interact? Figured I might be able to deal with a fed kog with a tabi+that if it worked how I imagine it to work. No way to test it either unless someone wants to help me do a 1v1 custom.

His W damage should get reduced for the duration. The item sounds really good against him, the problem is I have no idea how it decides which damage hits first.
What if he has a Wit's End? Maybe it only applies to Wit's End because as an on-hit effect it "hits first" or something.

From my understanding though, each ability has a different counter of its own. E.g. Ryze doing QEQWQ within the 4 seconds, the 2nd and 3rd Q still get reduced as long as they occur within the 4 seconds, W and E have their own imers. I am just wondering if the W on-hit was considered as a "spell". Same goes for Kayle.
I think it works against him because adaptive says spell effect and its definitely an effect. If it wasnt coded this way I dont think it would work against champs that poison. Ive never tested it but im almost positive it reduced the magic damage from the active
