Because Wukong isnt tanky early, his damage is meh and has zero sustain.

Play safe, farm and try to get your jungler to gank once you are 6, or at least until the other guy does something stupid.

Then what is even the point of playing him over every other top laner?

Fun. Personal preference.

Because he scales extremely well and is arguably the best bruiser for teamfights other than maybe Ilaoi.

If you want to win lane, pick Darius or Irelia If the other guy is ranged.

you must be high or never have played wukong if you think that he scales well. wukong is good early and mid game and he's an early game bully. he falls off extremely hard late game similarly to pantheon.

A full damage Wukong can easily one shot the enemies ADC while half healthing the tanks at the same time

What???????? Wukong is an extremely strong champ you guys are trippin if you're losing lane 100% of the time.

Stop taking ignite against people you can't dunk on early like Pantheon, Graves, or Darius.

Learn what match-ups you can snowball in and what match-ups it's better to farm in.

Wukong's laning phase isn't great but he has a better mid and late game than most top laners. In team fights few champions simultaneously provide as much initiation, crowd control, and burst as Wukong, while also being deceptively tanky.

Wukong has no sustain, so he gets out sustained by many champs. He's also extremely squishy early game and thus is countered by many champs like Renekton, Darius, etc. Skilled players know how to play against a wukong so you will have to play more passively and build bruiser-tank. I like wukong jungle much more than top, so you should try it out.

I don't understand what you're asking for. People solo top plenty with plenty of champions including MonkeyKing .

Oh you're saying you lose when you do it? Get good. Sorry.

Just practice more Wu and you will be fine.

It's true.

"Practice makes perfect" is the old saying.

shit champion will have shit results.

You need more practice. Wukong is easy to snowball with once you know how matchups work. More importantly, which matchups dont work so you should just farm instead.

You should probably take summoner 12 if you are unsure how a matchup works. Taking summoner 14 is putting you at a huge disadvantage if you can't get kills with it

Ok sure but why1 votes

because you faced Illaoi Irelia Fizz

is the fizz thing glitching out for anyone else

Gary B Enkelis3 votes

Is that Fizz? Haha, yes.

Fizz

Does this look like the face of mercy to you? Fizz

Oh man, this comment group is gonna make people so confused when they fix it.

Some more context would be helpful. Who are you playing Wukong against? What keystone are you running?

Thanks for the advise guys my wukong game has improved a lot thanks to you guys

He's kinda weak against the typical top laner with bulk brawn and sustain.

He scales nicely kinda though operating as a bruiser assassin.

His best lane matchups are characters who can't afford early defense. He's good at cheesing those. He's good at diving and kill squishy ranged characters. With clone you can dive in and drop minion aggro and avoid return harass unlike most top laners. Think of him as a cheesy version of Irelia.

I myself used Wukong as a counterpick to Fizz mid lane last night. Cheesed him hard. Too brawny for fizz. Wukong is right in the middle of the bruiser and assassin class.
