Anyone know what the 4th lowest win rate champion is right now?

If you guessed Kassadin, you would be absolutely correct. Kassadin's current win rate is 43.78%. The only champions with lower win rates are Azir, Elise, and Ryze in that order.

I know that at some points that Kassadin was stylized as Kassawin, but come on people. He is literally the worst assassin in the game. Some argue that he has to trade off damage for his mobility. To those people, please look at Leblanc. She is almost equally as slippery, yet has what feels like 3-5 times the damage of Kassadin.

It doesn't help that his spells have pretty high cooldowns for their damage levels. Or that the way his kit currently works, he is forced into this weird mana mage tank thing, that has almost no synergy with his kit, except he needs it to be able to ult (with its reduced range, and its huge cost), and that since his spells deal peanut damage, he has to be tanky just so that he can get off what little damage that he does have.

If in the current state of the game, an assassin like Leblanc is allowed to exist, then I think we can safely buff Kassadin without him becoming game breaking. (and TBH, people really like to knee-jerk with Kassadin. Just because he was incredibly OP at one point, it doesnt mean that he is some super mega death champ. Seriously, take a breather before you condemn Kassadin. Don't nitpick reasons why Kassadin "can never be allowed to see consistent gameplay". If a Kassadin roams botlane and kills you, its your fault, not the champions fault. Buy some MR and ward a little, you jerk.

Sincerely, a hopeful Kassadin player

Kassadin doesn't blowup like leblanc and scales into late game regardless of how well you shut him down. All his team needs to do is stall.

Except that's only true when most of the champions on a team are squishy initiation assassins and not tanks. If we buff him and go back to the assassin meta, he will dominate so hard.

All chanps have a specific.meta where they are good. That is no reason not to balance them according to the current state of the game

I think Kassadin has a significantly better late game than LeBlanc. If I am not mistaken, Kassadin is one of the few assassins who actually thrive late game. Meanwhile LeBlanc falls off very hard if she isn't fed.

Could you elaborate on how he thrives late game? I just cant see it, so to speak

I said "If I am not mistaken" because it is what I have heard, I personally have no concrete knowledge of the subject. I believe it might have to do with the mana scalings and item 3040 item 3027 etc.

Kassadin needs a ground up rework.

Balancing him as long as he has the targeted poke from his Q, and the insane mobility from his ult is absolutely impossible.

Kassadin is the weakest assassin due to the fact that he is actually balanced. All the others just need nerfing.
