Quinn/Valor still doesn't fill the shoe (fit the glove) that the old Quinn left behind. It changed her role completely and I miss her badly. 22nd most played Quinn NA has had to quit playing her because she isn't Quinn and Valor the team. She is Quinn and Valor the taxi.
I know what you mean, the old Quinn was just so much more enjoyable to play, she had a strong early game and was somewhat snowball reliant, but if you got a lead you could 1v1 pretty much anyone and assassinate enemy carries, it doesn't really even feel rewarding anymore to get fed, you need to watch who you try to duel, and you need to be either very far ahead or going after low health enemies to be able to execute someone, the ult doesn't feel nearly as good to use as before, I can't use it to pull off clutch escapes or turn a fight, it's glorified mobility boots that cost mana to use.

Valor is suppose to be a Champion too in his own right. Valor is pretty much her deceased brother's reincarnation. She sees her brother in him that is what pursued her to become demacia's greatest scout.
"TAG TEAM" was a signature move of Quinn. Because we all know it has always been Quinn and "VALOR" not just Quinn.

Rito has stated that, although they feel bad about the way old quinn mains dislike the changes, they are pleased with how she now has her own Strategic Identity. I think that means she's very unlikely to change. I feel your pain :( rip my pocket OP toplane pick.
Yeah, playing Quinn doesn't really feel as satisfying to me anymore. I'll still use her because she's my comfort pick, and I'm glad she's got a more clearly-defined role in teams now, but at the expense of not being able to play as her other half, Valor? Not worth.
I've wondered what Quinn would be like today if they'd just kept her Q and R the same while leaving the passive and E QoL changes in. Considering the meta we're in and the amount of awesome marksmen items there are currently, I think she'd be doing just fine, if not wonderfully.
Thanks guys, I'm just glad that I'm not alone of my dislike of the change. The new Quinn might as well be a new champion. Her e is the only mechanic that stayed the same, and I loved it with the anti-adc assassin capabilities of Quinn. Her w doesn't give an ats buff anymore (which was a pretty massive buff). Her q is completely revamped because you don't have the melee guaranteed version of it. It doesn't do the blind anymore though, although it does do an aoe vision reduction. Her ultimate is the biggest mess of a change riot has made to a single champion in my opinion. I get that the "identity" is solidified, but the champion definitely is not my Quinn & Valor.
Agree fully. I had to quit playing her too myself. I feel your pain, but I know you feel it much worse since she was your main.
No, it didn't really change her playstyle much. Instead of just ulting to finish off a low health target, you deal that burst through your harrier marks, and you can ult in from half a map away to kill a target. You're a better Rengar in that regard.
Lol I love the new Quinn I always play her ftp and will buy her soon. She is slightly different but she is now viable in basically any role if played right. Her kit fits my playstyle and she isn't as hard to play now. Overall I like her but if they change anything with ziggs besides his e I will rage quit league

Her kit is more reliable and better all around. Her old passive was clunky and the steroid on her ult kept her from having power on her base kit. you shouldn't be one shotting people like rengar. You should be kiting and roaming. "oh mid is being pushed hard and needs a gank?" ult then get to mid lane before the enemy laner realizes you've even left lane.
