Seriously tho, Rito, if you can pull out MORE support items like those 2 new (Knight's Vow and Redemption) it would be great. Too many times support are literally relegated to vision items, protective items, buffing items, but never team ipacting effects like these 2 items.

So this is a great news, and i hope we can see more special items for supports in the future!

(Also remove sighstone and put all the vision game to the trinkets, so it becomes a team efffort not a support - only effort thx)

Would enjoy this not only as a Support, but also an an ADC. I would very much enjoy being able to help out my "Partner" in botlane. :3

I just totally disagree. supports "NEED" to roam. It's great for the soraka nami mains out there, but I think it will help remove most support adc kill lanes like brand support which I'm happy with. as oppression has been so huge this season.

Even if she gets nerfed I'll still play her. at least her silence snare will make her always viable vs caster adc's like lucian

yeah, until they remove one of those silence/snares.

They didn't completely eliminate it as part of the support role, they just took some of the burden off of the support. In practice, this means 90% of the burden is still on you in Gold or lower, you just have less tools to do so. If they wanted it to no longer be an integral part of the support role, they probably wouldn't have bothered keeping sightstone in the game.

I love how some people seem to think that vision control isn't an integral part of the support role. Meanwhile, I miss the days when I could just buy a shit ton of wards + oracle's elixir, get mobi boots, and ward the whole damn map myself. Ah, it was a simpler time.

It isn't anymore, Riot told us this well long time ago. Vision is now a global effort, not a support only thing. But as long as sighstone remains, well it will always be a support only thing probably.
