If Riot still wants it to be a trap, at least reduce the duration the trap can linger. I'm okay with the bubble turning into a circle right after, but I'm not okay with it being a really long zoning tool.

If you meant the puddle should work like Viktor's, then the area of the spell has to be larger and aoe. The puddle right now is actually a lot better to avoid than when it was first introduced. If zoe misses her E then that puddle really just mainly acts as zone control now cus I rarely see people step on it when they know where it is.
