As a kled main the grevious wounds buff needs to be changed to something less match-up oppressive

I've been a kled main shortly after his release when they lowered the mount time of his passive, I love the champion and have memorized many of his matchups. I seem to play kled differently than most as i do short trades and go grasp instead of pta or conq, but I'm pretty sure all kled mains can agree the q change is a really bad choice.

Kleds main counters are characters with range and poke aswell as characters with life steal that can heal during and in between his trades, the champions with range and poke are usually squishy and can be heavily punished for base positioning however the life steal Champs like tryn, renekton, and fiora are problems. The way to be able to change kled so they don't always win is to decrease the Cooldowns of his passive in late game, unmounted q early, and e early. Decreasing kleds passive late doesn't have much to do with the specific match-up however if kled gets dismounted in a team fight, remount, and survives for a long time before getting dismounted he should be able to remount if he doesn't get bursted again.

This helps with the sustain damage and healing matchups as it allows kled to be able to have more sustain tanky ness if he doesnt get bursted, but still leaves it so he can die if he gets dismounted early and taken out (let's say the CD becomes 12 seconds level 18)

Another change would be kleds unmounted q, early levels the CD is just too high so if you get dismounted you have to awkwardly move around as your w CD is too high to get skaarl back quickly and if you waste your q you are stuck waiting a long time before you can use it again. VS life steal Champs while kleds is waiting nearly half a minute for each charge they are healing back to full which just allows them to engage and kill kled or force him to back even if he gets skaarl.

And the last change would be to reduce the Cooldown of kleds e early. I really like how for the first few levels kleds w and e Cooldowns match, however it becomes a problem once you put points into w and it breaks the sync, what ends up happening is although you have a lower w CD you can't really use it unless you land a hook without an e, and if you don't want to waste it on minions you just have to stand there for a few seconds waiting for the e to come off Cooldown. So having the first level Cooldown of his e match perhaps up to the third level of his w will allow kled to have more frequent trades which will make it so life steal characters won't be able to heal all the damage he dealt back before he can do a trade again.

Kleds damage is fine and doesn't need to be increased or anything, the only thing I feel needs to be changes is some Cooldown reductions, quality of life changes (maybe something to the movespeed on e) and bug fixes. Having it so life steal matchups have a perma 60% decrease is unfair and is leading to alot of people playing kled to exploit it and will likely lead to riot nerfing kled instead of just reverting the change. And even if they just revert it some of the old players will keep playing and kled will get popularity and people will realize his strengths and he will get nerfed even though he is a fine champion

Being match up oppressive is the point of the change. Riot didn't want healers to counter Kled, Riot wanted Kled to counter healers.
