ive had real good success with top lane turtle udyr

basically, get lifesteal quints, max turtle stance, and start dorans shield or blade. you have so much sustain from your autos and shield, its rediculous. your stun means you can disengage hard engage, the lifesteal means you can heal from poke. you can go either tiger or pheonix depending on the opponent. just build tanky after trin force and you are set. its so hard to die as turtle udyr. i honestly barely find anyone able to fight back, but ill be honest they outskilled me. the only champ i had a hard time against regularly was nasus cuz he outsustained me and outdamaged me. the slow stopped my bear stance hit and run, his passive had more lifesteal than me, and he could all in more than me since i was going defence and he went offence
