Note for reference -- The nerf to Yi (Sorry, 'change') did nothing.

Title practically says it all. He can still pretty much freely build tank, adapt after acquiring sated devourer, and faceroll with little to no risk since his Q is on a reset-per-murder basis, his heal can negate attacks that are intended to kill him, and he can simply dive right back into the fight with a R-buffed, true-damage massacre all the while having over 3k hitpoints to get through (which he lifesteals most, probably half back in a fight!).

Dunno if i'm just salting, but I probably am. Anyone have any tips to manage this type of Yi-cancer in game? Besides hard CC to lock him down indefinitely?

Also.. Yi's true damage is nerfed unless he goes full AD. Tanky Yi is using Cleave passive of Hydra. item 3116 , item 3075 item 3143 are someone of the items which can be used against him.

How was he nerfed when his true damage on his E went up and is now %25 scaling at all levels?

If the other team has no CC yi is stupidly OP. If you see a Yi however, you should try to counter it. I literally never played yi cuz i thought he was a brain dead champion and fairly easy to counter. I started playing him, still think hes a brain dead champion, can be really good and fun, but is extremely easy to counter. If you have no CC in your game thats your own fault.
