Can we get some Lethality (armor pen) boots this season?

there is a reason there never was armor pen boots

Was actually wondering this myself, in the past Riot has claimed that armor penetration boots were not an item because of how effective Armor Penetration is at early levels. Now that it's being changed to lethality and will have less of an impact on the early and mid game, im wondering if they'll introduce them. Would also force assassins to make the choice most mages currently do which is -- ionians or sorcs? Instead of just saying oh im an ad assassin -- ionians.

And also it will help mages, assassins will have to choose, do I want item 3111 for CC or should I get lethal boots for those tanks...choices!

Yeah, I guess you do have a choice presently but it's not a good one. It's just am i behind? Mercs. Am I ahead? Ionians.

Oh god no.. lol as someone who mains Rengar and plays a lot of other assassins, this is totally overkill.

even if you're ahead, if the enemy has a lux, or a veigar, any mage with some CC..you're gonna want those mercs. unless youre someone that benefits from CDR like riven or rengo

well sir, if you would stay updated you would know that lethality and armor pen are not the same thing.
