Hello Guys, I wanted to ask will ekko still gets nerfs means will it be worth buying him and use him in patches which will come ahead if not which champ shld i buy i want a melee fighter not a tank which deals tons of damage in 6300 IP(it Can Be Lower). he should be a fighter or assassin. plz give your own thoughts dont give me the name of the champion u use. Very Hard Engage2 votesekko is ok, he gets punished in the mid lane by anyone with a good range like ziggs or xerath, hes mostly seen in jungle now as a tank given his great slowing potential and aoe stun, his ult is a bit too hard to pull off.
yasuo/riven are the 2 best on the list right now, id stick with one of them. (my god i hate rivens) but still a huge bully and easy to snowball with.

z14GaKI7TO1 votesIn my opinion he's just been really really really mediocre since his release patch. I would honestly even say he's bad.Balanced Ekko is bad Ekko to me, he just doesn't seem good. I've never seen one actually do well in a game recently and he's easy to outplay. In a 1v1 or 1v2 his stun is basically irrelevant because it probably won't land, and chances are people will be slightly cautious of their positioning to his "past self" shadow type thing and when he ults they will back away from it so that won't do damage, so realistically thats just like summoner heal.
This is my opinion. People have learned how to easily outplay Ekko and kiting him isn't hard at all.

Dr Pump2 votesMy thought on the situation: If you really truely want to win and be annoying and win lane I'd pick Riven, even though I absolutely hate Riven or anyone who plays her. However, Ekko in my opinion is in a great spot right now because of the late game buffs and the huge late game buff on his shield, building the new ap items with rabadons really rewards him because he scales up so well right now.

As soon as you do, you see what kind of skillcap he has and how hard it is to win with him in any situation. Not because its difficult, but because Talon is made for punishing mistakes- his and his enemies. However, once you get really skilled with him its amazing- you can assassinate harder than a fed Riven. In fact you CAN assassinate a fed Riven. But again, high skill floor and even higher skill ceiling. In my humble opinion, of course.

EvilRabbitt1 votesEither a misstep or a well planned Ekko ultimate- the trick with Talon is knowing how to engage. Of course if he goes to 1v1 a fighter/assassin (that's what he is, he has shields and heals...) who's selling point is that they scale unstoppably, he will die. However if he pops his ult and comboes then Ekko dies before he gets a chance to respond.
Ekko is easy to learn and easy to master, but also very rewarding for doing so. He is a fairly new champion, this is to be expected. Talon is fairly odd and fairly difficult to master, but in theory you cannot EVER deny Talon from taking what he wants.
Ekko is easy and powerful, Talon is harder and undeniable. =) I don't talon much, its just from what I understand of the concept and spectating my friend who plays the bajeezus out of him.
