Make it so that when Nocturne commits to diving on his ult, he sends illusory Nocturnes to dive alongside him onto every champion on the map, which deal no damage and fade into shadows on arrival.
True to the name of the ability, this will freak everybody out, since nobody knows for sure who he's going for until he's already there.

Especially in teamfights it would just look like 5 Nocturnes diving in, and cause a huge clarity mess in every teamfight as you basically wouldn't see anything anymore.

The entier point of his ult is to cause confusion and make fights messy for his opponents, it fights his niche and lore. Maybe it couls use some visiuals for his alliies to see what target he's going for, like auto pinging the target.
