If Ezreal got 'buffed' to remove the Blue Build, would it hurt anyone's feeliings?

Q no longer applies OnHit effects. Passes through the first target and can damage a second, counting as an AoE spell 'n applying spell effects. Can crit (maybe at a reduced value?). AP ratio improved to account for the loss of Lichbane, deals Magic Damage rather than Physical if AP is greater than Bonus AD.

I ask because at the rate things are going, I suspect that Ezreal is going to get Iceborn and Muramana both nerfed for Ranged champions.

Again.

Too bad this wouldn't be a buff.

That's an interesting sentiment.

If Ezreal's Q crit for 2000% damage, but no longer applied OnHit effects, would that be a buff or a nerf?

I mean it would be a buff, but a crit for 2000% damage isn't going to happen anytime soon. You could 1 shot anyone. If you're going to give one of the longest/lowest cooldown skillshots in the game the ability to crit (and twice because it passes through the first target) then it probably would have a HUGE reduction on crit damage. Also if I could hit two targets with the Q (does it stack his passive twice) does that mean I get a 3 second reduction to all of my cooldowns (the cooldown reduction isn't something you can just take away because the rest of his kit relies so heavily on it)? It would make his Q urf mode at level 9 lol. I'm not saying this because I don't want ezreal buffed (he is one of my top 3 favorite champions), but to do this you would probably have to change his entire kit.

I forgot to mention Ap Ezreal. One of the problems that occured when runeglaive ezreal was a thing is that his Q could apply ludens echo. Now you buff the ap on his Q and allow it to proc ludens, and you are more or less back to his Q oneshotting people (not as strong as it would be with a runeglaive proc, but still).

Yes, good. That would be way too powerful.

And if it crit for 102%, that would be way too weak.

Thus, it stands to reason that there must be some value between 102% and 2000% that would be workable.

Luden's/Runeglave was crazy because it was applying OnHit effects and spell effects. I'm proposing that it apply on spell effects.

And I'm not saying anything in this topic is a good idea.

Mostly I'm just wondering if anyone would be upset about Blue Ezreal being made non-viable if it meant buffs to Ezreal's Crit/AD and AP builds. Because when an off-build like Blue starts clogging picks in Solo and Pro games, then Riot typically does something about it. And if push comes to shove, would you rather see Ez just get completely wrecked with nerfs, Mura/Iceborn utterly ruined for ranged champions, or Ez getting some changes so he can't abuse the Blue build?

Blue Ez is strong because he fits the meta. He doesn't need a nerf, nor do those items.

Blue Ez needs a nerf, but gutting his Q isn't the way to do it.

Pass not bounce.

More Baleful Strike and less Double Up.

Blue Ezreal shouldn't be touched because without it Ezreal would never be picked against other high scaling carries.Think a bit every other marksmen including even twitch can hard carry.Ezreal only has his blue build to match them.
