Why is Akali banned so much but her winrate is literal dogshit?

The only people who get to play her are people who have never played her before, so her winrate sucks. She's banned against everyone else.

She's no fun for people playing against her.

People refuse to play against her. Akali is quite easy to deal with... when you stop treating her like the old one.

Rule number one; DO NOT FIGHT HER IN HER ZONE. 90% of the deaths i see against Akali are people trying to fight her in her zone. The other 10% is a fed burst caster bursting.

Rule number two; Build a little MR.

Rule number three; Do not fight her in her zone.

Akali is actually pretty simple to deal with once you take her W out of the equation.

I cant speak for anyone else but she's just really annoying to deal with.

because fighting her literally sucks the fun out of the game. If she gets ahead, she can just tower dive you with so little risk, if you get ahead she just hides most game and shuts down momentum on her. She's got high consistent damage, constant healing, and is just a pain to play against.

Champs aren't just banned for being powerful, they're banned for being frustrating too.

Akali's shroud is a perfect example of what people mean when they say the balance team is creating problematic kits.

What's worse is they're nerfing her incorrectly.

People have an issue with her shroud and E range, not her damage.

As a result, she becomes incredibly unforgiving to play. More often than not people will not have enough games with the new Akali to cope with the steep learning curve. Both because she has a completely new design and she's banned half the time.

When you see an Akali at peak performance, it feels dirty.

Because riot is content with her kit invalidating 70% of champion in this game.

If your not playing an aoe ranged champion you basically don't get to do anything.

I'm a yorick main and shouldn't give a shit about her in lane. But there is literally nothing I can do vs her. Her shroud cancels autos for free, she's ungankable and even when she fucks up and you get next to her she has 2 dashes to disengage making it impossible to fight her as a melee champion.

Old Akail was no match in lane despite her shroud. This new one has too many tools that over lap and function too well offensively and defensively.

Is too safe

Same concept as Yasuo. Annoying to deal with in-lane.
