Thoughts of Overcharge from a Everything but ADC Main.
Dear riot,
I love the visuals of the new game mode. It is a fun game, but only when you are either ahead, or the game is evenly matched.
Honestly I am a terrible ADC player, and was about to leave an awful review, but the last game I did really well, 11-1-4 as trist. I am starting to understand the game more.
First off, The smoke is really confusing. Coming from a regular game where the brush visually the same, introducing smoke confused me for 4 out of the 5 games that I played. I only noticed after dying to the same play 4 times in a row. Dont know how you could fix it, but maybe putting a in game note to warn incoming player about it. Also I would like to note that It took me 3 games to figure out what the hour glass did. Dont know if I just missed reading the text, but it would be nice to have some explanation. (maybe the first time you join up for que there could be a pop up that explains the rules)
Second and I think this is the largest problem. the gold income. When I was playing any of my first 4 games I ended with like at most 4 or 5 kills and I never got enough damage to do anything. I felt completely useless. In my Trist stomp of a game, I felt like I had too much money. I would rocket jump in with 1/4 health against a full health jhin and fail to dodge any of his abilities, but still be strong enough to kill him. The gold you gain from kills I think is way too high.
I think that the champs that are selected are all decent, it mainly depends on the player. In order for me to play this game mode again I would like the game to be more fair. If you corner a fed champ, they shouldn't be able to 1v2 because they got all the kills in the first 5 minutes.
I dont know if this is only me, or if this is a decent idea. I just dont want to be useless in a game and felt like I couldn't do anything in the first 4 games. (partly due to my lack of skill)
Hope that somebody at riot reads this and hope it helps.
Sincerely NotAnADCMain
