Mid matchup - Morgana vs Zed

Please help me out with this one. Am I wrong to think it is a completely one sided matchup where Zed just sh*ts on Morg all day long?

Morg Q - not only hard to land due to Zed's better waveclear (and, therefore, more minions to hide behind), but also can't be combined with R as Zed can just shadow or ult out. Morg W - literally the only way for Morg to do something. Due to Zed's mobility is never a poke threat, it's mainly a farming tool. Morg E - completely useless in this matchup aside from dodging ganks. Morg R - Zed can shadow/ult out.

Every time I played this matchup it has gone like this:

Zed pokes with shurikens infinitely pre-6. Morg can hardly approach and AA the CS cause Zed can either zone it with shadow or just freepoke with shurikens. Morg can farm with W, but she gets zoned out of like 3 CS in a wave.

Post 6, even if a Morg lands a good bind, her R is so easy to escape for Zed. Zed, on the other hand, can literally ult in at any point and time. Freepoke with shurikens continues and in the most common case Morg just gets poked out of lane due to either mana or taking infinite harass.

That's about it. Any tips? I asked Scarra about this matchup and he said "both can farm up" but that is like assuming that Zed can't land any skillshots and Morg has constant jungle pressure post 6 so that Zed wouldn't all in her.

Just like any Zed matchup: rush Zhonya, don't event try to fight or gank him, don't even think about doing anything there is no point, let him spit on you for 20 minutes, get bored, don't die no matter how many creeps you miss, never solo, and wait for a teamfight when his ult finally fails him.

Because healthy design.

Zed will win the matchup against Morg solely due to him being AD and her being strong against AP. I mained Morgana mid and sup, even a few tops long before she became a big thing and seen this matchup a lot.

Morg just has to farm with her puddle and not even bother trying to harm Zed, it just isn't going to happen or usually be worth the risk. Zed will always win the matchup if you actually try to trade so don't even bother.

The only thing Morg has over Zed is he is unable to all in you under tower. Zed's ult will ALWAYS spawn him behind you so you can very easily Q him point blank under tower, and either get away and he dies or at the bare minimum die and have him die with you due to tower. I rarely see competent Zed's dive me on Morg since while Zed getting kills is bad, Morg getting kills is just as bad. RoA, Rylais, and Liandrys if there is tanks can easily get Morg to 3k hp or more and Zed becames unable to burst you anymore while you hit for a metric ton of damage yourself. Not to mention Morg farms better than Zed once she gets RoA so while he has control of the lane in the beginning, you will take control at that point and that makes it hard for Zed to roam if you can easily push his tower down if he leaves. Zed thrives on getting fed so if he doesn't he has a very big problem while Morg can get fed off farm and even underfarmed still is relevant due to her bind, slow/stun ult, and her pool does more the lower hp the target has so it will hurt no matter what.

To sum it all up. Best way to beat Zed as Morg? Just allow him to push you close to your tower and farm your way up, if he is very pushed then see if your jungler can come, but at the very least just be ready for 6 on. You want him to all in you under tower and you want to be ready to Q him in the face for it. If you do this then you will always kill him even if you die in the process sometimes, Zed will usually stop going all in on you and now he has a problem instead of you.

You lost me at Zed having stringer waveclear, put a couple points into tormented soil and keep the lane pushed, W then walk away, the constant pushing will keep zed from roaming and you won't really be in range for him to poke you down. It's like with any assassin, if you don't die to them early they have a much harder time snowballing.

As a Morg main, you have to get very used to this lane and you'll see it often along with Yasubros.

You can usually tell how the lane is going to go fairly quickly. Either Zed is going to be really dumb and die before even level 6, or you're going to say fuck this lane and focus on snowballing your team elsewhere.

Zed starts Maw: don't bother fighting him, roam. Zed starts anything else: you can fight him and win, but roaming will be more fun anyways.

Maw Start: Roam, replay Blade Start: Roam, replay

Zed is designed to win 1v1s, so unless you're against a Zed who has bad mechanics you shouldn't fight him much in lane. Morgana is designed to win teamfights, so outroam Zed and dominate the game as early as possible.
