TL;DR: I just won a ranked game and lost LP for it.

So I queued up for a ranked game, and everything was going well, until about 20 minutes in, my ISP decided cut out for a couple hours. Naturally I dc'd (I'm so sorry team!) but the thing is, we were ahead enough that they ended up winning anyway.

Everything ended up okay for those guys, thankfully. But here's what I didn't know (and you now do): Even if your team ends up winning, you still receive a loss, even if it isnt shown anywhere. So it is possible to win a ranked game, and still lose LP.

A cautionary tail, and im a bit bitter about it

While I don't think you deserve to gain LP for a DC, I don't think you should lose it if your team wins. Unless you're repeatedly leaving just for gits and shiggles.
