Is Renekton honestly that "weak"?

Sure, despite having "eh" winrate of 48% while having 7% playrate, I really don't see the point of buffing him at all. Dude can just dash up to your face, hits you with an empowered W where it stuns you for centuries, enough for Renekton to land an extra AA then a Q, and then dashes out. He's just absurdly aggressive & tough to go up against if you're playing something like Gangplank or even Riven.

So because you don't like how he is played/his dash ability, he should stay weak? I have actually not seen a renekton player in a month, there's no reason to pick that champion currently.

Renekton isn't weak by any measure. His pick+ban rate is around 12% which puts him around 15th of all top laners and 60-80th range for all champions. That is right in the middle of the 140 champions and shows that he is pretty balanced. Champions who are stronger should be nerfed down to his level, he should not be buffed.

A good Gp and Riven can destroy a Renekton,he's not the lane bully that he used to be,he has a lot of losing matchups and can't really hard carry against a competent team if your team is behind,he isn't bad to the point you can't climb with him,but he could use some small buffs

I just played Renekton for the first time (granted it was an ARAM but still) and was 0/3 the first 5 mins. I died and bought spear and 5 mins later I was something like 12/6. As long as spear is in the game I don’t think he should be buffed because spear makes him too good.
