Bard - a W buff would go a long way!

Hello!

I've been playing Bard recently, and he's excellent (7 game winning streak following an 8 game losing streak - I blame learning curve).

I was wondering if enemies could be punished for stepping on his shrine. This way he could even use it offensively. It doesn't have to be very heavy - maybe a minor slow and a reduction in resistances. And if he chooses to use it offensively, he's giving up the burst heal (long cd too), so its always a choice he has to make.

What does everyone else think?

No. He was buffed enough already since his release, let's not create yet another Tahm where we take a somewhat balanced champ and push him over the edge with overkill buffs.

He's in a good spot, stepping in the shrines is the counterplay to his sustain, and it doesn't need to have an offensive component to begin with.

can we stop asking for bard buffs, jesus

he got a buff this patch to his passive and W ratio. he does NOT need more

Bard needs no buffs, he is fine as he is. Giving him another slow will get him nerfed later since his W would essentially be point and click and make Q automatic. They need to just leave him alone now.

I think Bard is strong enough as he is right now, he doesn't really need a buff.

Those who voted no, if they could state why, that'd be great!

I would vote no. Stepping on shrines is supposed to be the counter play to his heal. I don't see any reason to give it an offensive component. The one thing I would consider (and it might already, I have no idea) is have it grant vision on the enemy that destroyed the shrine for x seconds.

Bard is already in a good spot right now with the recent buffs and keystones. He doesn't need any buffs.

Lel, your name though. And I do agree, despite what most people say, he really doesn't need a buff. Just who he is as a champ is strong. Even when he's behind he can help the team with the tactical kit he has. Most people just don't know how to play him, play with him, or play against him, cause a lot of people play him differently.
