Riot: Unranked Player + Gold Player =/= Silver Elo

I'm fucking tired of being matched with unranked players to compensate for the dynamic que system. I get placed in matches where I'm the only highest rank there. It's not the unranked players I'm worried about, I just hate losing a shit ton of LP to play in a frustrating ass silver elo game where players don't know how to close out games or ward. I want to play in my fucking elo goddamnit.

This matchmaking is awful. Just awful for solo players.

Well, what can we do. Trying to decrease the variance range means increasing the wait time. Something has to give.

But I will admit, Matching gold + Bronze/unranked/whatever against Silver, is going to vary if you don't count for role assignment.

Games are based on hidden mmr not rank.

Your argument had nothing to do with how matchmaking works.
