how to you deal with diana as talon?

hi guys so i just inted my ass off to a diana im just wondering how to you beat her? my first game i was 3/0 yet once she finished she could jump on me and 1 shot me while i could not even 1 shot her with the lead i had did i just play it really bad?

second game is the one i inted she hit first 6 i did not realise she was so close to it so she jumped on me and killed me then i got back to lane and she did it again and even with ignite and ult i still could not kill her im so confused if someone could tell me where i went wrong it would help a lot

Well for 1, go for hexdrinker first.

Second, her Q is in an arc, easy to dodge if you watch the arc, if you dont get hit she loses a second ulti which is generally what kills people.

Third, poke her down. She has a shield that damages you and increases in power if all 3 orbs hit you. So if you do ulti her.... if you are good (im not but in my mind this will work), use your ulti, pop back to dodge the Aoe pull in of hers, use W to possibly go in and dodge the Q if she didnt use it yet and to go in and Q her and E and ignite. If you get hit by that Q you are pretty much dead meat.

This might work enough that you have a chance.

Get hexdrinker first, and get merc treads not mobi boots which a lot of talons get. Don't fight her past 6, you'll never outdamage her unless she misses her Q. You have better wave clear than her, i would try to get any possible kills early on and then once you're both 6 try clearing waves and roaming bot. She can't clear waves as fast as you and you'll always have lane priority.

You don't ever win a fight vs a good Diana as Talon. She has w to negate a lot of your burst in melee range, her q out ranges your w poke and she can zone you while pushing the wave, e can pull you out of ranged q and your e. It is an incredibly rough match up at pretty much all stages of the game. Your best bet is to use your faster rotations in mid to late game to outplay her in the macro game.
