hey guys quick question, How do you beat Riven?
Don't give me the simple "ugh stun her?" answer. Literally how do you beat a riven without stunning her? only champ ive seen successfully beat a 1v5 with come out 100%. If the only way to beat a champ is to stun her, maybe she should be looked at by riot.
ignore her
is cd reliant, she has no hp regen/sustain at all unless she gets

cc or knock backs and silences really screw up her combo. she is a very gold/item dependent champ. items like 
are really good for lowering her dps. when you have a cc/knock back/ silence try to due it when she is about to proc her 3rd cast on her Q . early lane dominate/bullies are good vs her like 
. i find that 
is a interesting match up considering he can use his pillar as a form of cc/knock back he is really good about 1 vs 1 with his Q and W and ULT, his Q will still her ad and make her do less damage during trades. he is good with or 
which gives him cdr/armor and the is strong even though she is a "caster" she has to auto alot to maximize her damage output. with it provides an aoe slow when you proc the shen passive that also give bonus ad on proc. lower level elos 
is considered a counter. he can sustain with passive he gets free armor stats with W and can lower her damage with W active and negate her stun with W cc reduction , his Q is great to silence her from her combo. considering she is weak early with out a kill and lvl advantage is normally just a bit tanky for her to dominate in lane. he is also resource-less like her and he can run cdr and stack cdr with items to keep up with her cds. i have also had success in lane vs a as but it would be deemed a "skill " match up because you can cc knock back sustain, and reduce damage with kit and but if you misplay she will out damage you early and can lead to a early kill and she will always go 
vs a or at least in my experience which makes it really hard. she will go super argo early to get that kill. as far as 
i dont play her so i cant say but i have played against her and i could see where she would be an issue but i would consider that a skill match up as well.
also 
will really mess up but dont use it prematurely cuz as soon as it is on cd she will be ham.
he outdamages and outsustains her, it's quite silly and hilarious
when she tries to go in on you just press W and laugh as you completely control what she does while it's up
play , riposte one of her 3 stuns and all in and win. Or just get a gank and then do the prior because fiora snowballs just as hard. That's what i do at least.
Well, you can polymorph her, exhaust her, predict how she is going to move, slow her and predict to kite. There are many ways to beat riven, you just have to know what your doing.
Never let her get ahead in lane. Be super safe. If she doesn't get kills early she can't snow ball. Especially if she takes ignite. I like to play Fiora into it since I can avoid her stun and stun her back at the same time. If you see her use her q to clear minions poke her down since she probably wont try to trade with you after using her main damage source.
