Low elo shouldn't get love since we don't know how to play the game. Like why balance around poeple playing wrong it makes no sense.

If a X champ is strong because X player does this X mistake then should you remove what X champ is using to exploit mistake of this bad player? NO absolutely not. This not only puts skill expression to shame and makes the game less competitive but promotes bad skill.

Don't nerf guinsoos. :(

and that's why Riot isn't doing it

They said many and many times that they balance around high plat / low diamond, with the exception of the world patch that happens once a year.

You're right! Why would Riot ever consider balancing the elo that most people play in? Whilst I agree that balancing around high elo is ideal, ignoring low elo completely is idiotic. The low elo players provide the majority of Riot's $$$ so you can't leave them completely in the dirt.

I agree that Riot needs to stop the LC$ balance but they do it because LC$ is where they make most of their money.

Note that EACH LC$ team has to pay Riot 10 million to join the league. EACH TEAM. Skin sales are nothing compared to this.

If League of Legends lost most of it's viewer base through neglect, then the pro scene would massively suffer aswell. The pro teams would lose most of their sponsors/get paid massively less for them, because why would these companies want to spend a small fortune on something viewed by a small margin of people? They wouldn't, which means the teams wouldn't make any of the money back through sponsors, which means fewer teams would refuse to pay the $10 million entry fee, which means Riot would need to drastically lower it, which means less money for Riot Games.

Riot makes money simply through its popularity, but if you make the game completely unplayable for the majority then everyone suffers.

I think Riot's done a perfect job of balancing the game around all levels of play. Asides from some general outliers that have been too strong for too long (cough) Riven (cough) Vayne (cough) Vlad (cough) I feel as though they've shown equal love to all elos and it's part of the reason why they've remained so relevant for so long.

Well, you don't want people to get out of low elo on the back of a champion that people don't know how to play against either. That would just make people get to 'higher elo' than they should based on their understanding as the game as a whole.

Like, I get it. Low ELO shouldn't be a huge balancing factor, but that's just why I rationalize them balancing around low elo. That and the majority of players are low elo, and they have to be able to enjoy the game too.
