Logically, Blind and Draft normals should have their own MMR. They really are different games.

In game modes where a Diamond player can queue with his Iron friend, does it matter?

I haven't tested it myself (nor have I seen anyone else test it), but it wouldn't surprise me if they do. But you're right in saying they should. Do you have a different point you're trying to make?

well i know for a fact normals and rank have different mmrs

i have spoke to riot about it in normal match making.

i just played vs a d4 player top while im unranked.

in normals.

they dont seem to think your rank mmr should influence your mmr in normals.
