A Legitimate Thank You to Riot

So about a week ago I made this post about my frustration with dynamic queue, and it kinda exploded. So when I heard that Lyte was going to make a statement on the state of ranked for the 2016 season, I was understandably pessimistic, given Riot's track record of little acknowledgement of player feedback.

In However, having read it, I would like to just say major props to Riot for not only listening to us, but straight up doing exactly what they needed to do to maintain the integrity of ranked. A seperate queue and ranking for people that want to play ranked solo is just what I was hoping for, but something I never dreamed would actually happen.

I don't know, I don't see soloQ staying. They are putting all their efforts into dynamicQ. People are going to play it since it gives most of the ranked rewards. If people occasionally want to duo, they aren't going to want to rank up in 2 separate ques.

I don't get it. Having two separate queues isn't a significant improvement over not changing anything. One of the queues is just going to wind up significantly underutilized with high wait times and worse matchmaking, like ranked 5s had.
