Replace "URF" with "Chocolate" and "Riot" with "mother" if you want to see what we look like.

Seriously. Let's look at the scenario through that lens:

Mom had given you chocolate on April Fools Day for the past two years. This year, when you asked her "Mom, are you getting me chocolate this year?", she said no. But when April Fools comes around and uou don't get chocolate, you throw a massive tantrum despite that you were TOLD you weren't getting it. The most popular posts are clogged with "UPVOTE FOR CHOCOLATE" and "WE WANT CHOCOLATE NOT _______".

This is the behavior of a bratty, spoiled child.

We should be better than this.

That is a horrible analogy though, since your mom is not a corporation. Riot is a business. If they Riot doesn't meet the expectations of their customers, they will lose out on revenue, just like any other company. If your mom doesn't meet expectations, she's still your mom.

Wow, perfect analogy. Well, except for the fact that we're customers and not Riot's children and Urf is a service that is being requested and not an unhealthy treat. Apart from the fact that the two situations are completely dissimilar, bravo.

Except riot isn't our fucking mom they're a service provider who's job is to insure their consumers get what they ask for.

If you've worked a day in your life you'd understand that in order to beat competition and keep your consumer(and hopefully gain more) you must appeal to them.

They have a point though. The apologists treat rito like their mother and they can do no wrong.

Sure, but wouldn't you be a little sad and confused too of your mom kept hinting at giving you chocolate despite saying she wasn't going to? Like last year, when she said she was going to give you an apple instead of chocolate, but then she gave you the chocolate and it was all a rouse. Or this year, when she released a chocolate themed skin around the same time she gives you chocolate last year. Or when she had her friends from NA and EU come over to play and they all made references to the chocolate. Or when your mom gave you some cereal and in the ingredients was some chocolate (latest patch had URF code in it). Mom told us we would have Banana day for 3 days instead of Chocolate, but at midnight, she took all the bananas away, kinda making us think we might get the chocolate.

TL;DR You can't tell us we can't have chocolate and also tease us with the idea of the chocolate non stop whilst trying to make us eat bananas.

Bad analogy like joezzz said, your Mother is vastly different from Riot, a corporation that is supposed to meet the expectations of their customers, and a mother just needs to do what's best for her child.

Riot didn't do their job in satisfying the majority of their customers.

A mother not giving her child chocolate doesn't mean she's not doing the best she can for her child, she's still doing her job.
