Had to face one top lane, and I must say her burst damage, into stealth, into more burst (her Q CD is oddly low), into a gap closer if you run, is really frustrating to deal with. The Q poke into ignite+ tower dive with stealth, oof.
Especially when you are playing a champion like Wukong, with no shields, and close to zero sustain.

Wukong should do well into Akali. Most of her killing power comes from passive, and you pressing W lets you run away and ignore her passive.

hmm, very safe, ranged poke, no risk/reward, sustain, and doesn't use mana. Typically a champion with her kit is gated by mana but since she uses energy and has sustain she rarely needs to back out of lane. So yes she has several conveniences that are not common for her archtype.

If you assume that her poke is good then your a top laner, because that shit is useless against mages if they don't let u land it (You gotta count that she has the lowest base stats between all assassins). She actually has way more risk and not much of a reward, you aren't a reliable assassin. All assassins are better than her maybe beside Fizz.
I have a simple counter point, every assassin does her job and BETTER. No, seriously LB is better than her at being a mobile 0.1s burst insta-kill assassin. Talon is the best roamer in the game because of hes E and when you get your R + Mobi's you can exert so much global pressure. I think Fizz isn't as good as Akali, he's trash currently IMO. By the way did I mention that most nearly all assassins have point and click damage or/and mobility spells. Akali and very few assassins are actually pure skill shot champions.

Have you tried walking away from her? Honestly speaking this thread doesnt show 'AKALI STRONG NERF NERF NERF" - it shows the OP doesnt understand how Akali functions and was beaten by someone who knows how to play their champion.
@thread When Akali W's, walk away. When Akali lands her E, its fair because its a skillshot. When Akali lands her Q, its fair because its a cone AoE. When Akali lands her passive (where most her burst damage ACTUALLY comes from) its because you let her get in range of you. If Akali blows both ults to kill you, its fair. If Akali is constantly tower diving you with her W, and you keep dying, you need to learn to respect her because when she dives, unless its a guranteed kill, she is ALWAYS flexing on you.

Don’t you think I’ve tried that? The only way I’ve ever outdone her was when I played Hecarim, she appeared briefly and I slammed her away from her shroud, I’m just glad the shroud’s losing obscure effect

Ignika D1 votesyou should have played vs the release one that if you used a timed ultimate like renekton she would shroud for the duration of it and each time it expired she just used her dashes to regain the shroud again and when your ulti timed out she would kill you that was super duper fun
