Normal-Queue Tilt

Since a normal game in League of Legends isn't based by any sort of elo influence, players looking to excel in the game find themselves having to play ranked to keep their skills stimulated. When a plat player and silver player face each other in normals, the plat player finds them-self lacking high-stakes, mechanically-intense situations while the silver player wonders how they died to Irelia so fast.....

But seriously, it's about time Normal Queue was designed to push the player to excel.

Sincerely, Teemo OG Kush

Edit: After learning about the already existing normal queue elo-based system, I additionally believe a reset to normal queue elo would be beneficial; giving the player a fresh start in the scene.

Normal > Casual Ranked > Hardcore

Also, what makes you think that you are matched randomly in normal queue? Normal queue has its own MMR rating thingy, so the platinum in your example MMR is equivalent to the silver player's MMR, so it should be balanced.

Just play ranked if you want a ranked system. Simple enough. Normals are for casual players or players who don't want to play in a ranked system.

I don't really understand the point of your post.

Edit: As an aside, since there is a hidden normal MMR system, your platinum player, if he plays normals enough and plays at a high level, will be playing against other high level players and should enjoy all the mechanically intense situations (what does that even mean?) he gets to enjoy in the ranked queue. :p
