Ults should not work through Zhonyas

I don't understand how a tide turning ult like Fiddlestick's or Kennen's can continue to work through Zhonyas for how large their area of effect is and the power they have. Katarina's ult certainly doesn't work through Zhonyas, so why are these champions allowed to channel an even stronger ult through immunity?

They have been constantly emphasizing reworks with counterplay in mind, yet this is allowed to exist?

Fiddle Zhonyas ult is almost iconic at this point. Anyway, I think it's fine as long as the champion ult acts similar to a passive. Basically what Rewt said. The champions balance should be built around it rather than changing the interaction, and with Fiddle, it really is IMO.

You make a very good point. Wait a lil bit for someone to give their reasoning as to why you are wrong

Why riot doesn't put an exception in. I don't know.

Why it currently works this way. Kennen ult and Fiddlesticks ult (much like Karthus E) Are not channels. So they can move and cast other spells while doing these abilities. Death Lotus is a channel. Zhonyas will cancel channels, but for always on abilities, The zhonyas doesn't cancel them.

im guessing its because they are Auras not actual channels after X condition is done they dissappear.
