What's the secret? I feel sort of cursed.

This is my recent experience:

  1. My bot lane feeds and afks after bitching the entire time.
  2. My mid rages at my bot lane and everyone feeds but me. I'm playing jax jungle and im like 1/1/2
  3. My jungle tells my bot lane to slit their throats and die and they give up on playing seriously. We were winning. We lost.
  4. Every lane is winning, but my jinx gets mad and runs into the enemy mid lane tower on purpose and dies feeding a 1k gold shut down and then gives up.
  5. My Jinx and Janna bot lane are a combined 4/30 . The jinx is 3/14. I'm like 10/4/15
  6. My urgot top is 3/13. My udyr did 3k player damage dealt. I'm like 4/4/10 or something.
  7. I have a last season diamond 1 yasuo player on my team who goes 0/13. My jungle is also 0/9. I was 6/0 as Morgana
  8. My bot lane is plat 1. They pick Morgana and their skill progression is W -> E -> E -> Q. They hard int bot lane. Then spam wards and flash in base and give up.
  9. My Trundle walks into the enemy team at level 1 and dies seemingly on purpose while shouting he is the troll king in all chat. Then he goes 3/15 top lane.

The list could go on and on. Frankly, i don't feel challenged in any of these games. My opponents are never better than me mechanically. I see almost all of their plays coming 20-30 seconds before they happen.

It just doenst' seem to matter. I either coin flip teammates who who hard int and give up or I coin flip teammates who seriously want to win.

I really don't know what to do.

I've even tried duoing. I've duoed with fellow plats. I've duoed with diamonds. I've duoed with challenger friends. None of them can carry these games.

I guess I'm just too heavy with scores like 10/4/15. Somehow, I've averaged a 5.5 kda as my one trick over 300 games with a 60% win rate and I'm just too heavy to get out of plat. It's unreal.

I'm sure at some point people will tell me how bad I am etc. That I lost the game because I placed a ward at 1:30 instead of 1:15 or some minor thing. Nah. I understand I have things to improve on. I just don't see how that's going to save me from people trolling in half of my games.

I'm on a 25 game chat ban now because I started trying to explain stuff to people which leads to arguments.

In my experience duo queue makes everything way harder, tbh. Whenever I would play duo my top/mid would always be at least 0/6 each before lane phase was over. It was legit insane. I was stuck in the Platinum 1 blender for like a solid 2 months getting teams like the ones you’re talking about. Played my diamond promos solo and it was ezpz 3-0. Getting there was hell. High plat is a toxic cesspool of trolls and feeders.

I know you don't want to hear this, but. There is probably something they are doing that you are not. Mechanical skill is only 1/4rd of the game. Game knowledge and map awareness and teamplay account for the rest.

I suggest figuring out where you are the weakest and learn how to improve.

Well 4% of the playerbase is currently in Diamond... that's almost double the population of every other season.

(And it's still early into the year)

So I dont know if this means Diamond is more easily accessible or not at this point. The quality of games is wayyyyyy down atm.

Play jungle, platinum players are fucking monkeys and will literally allow junglers to walk up to their lane and kill them for free even if they know where the enemy jungler is. The amount of map awareness they have are on the same level of intermediate bots.

Just use the Yi/Taric funnel strat riot refuses to fix like this game ruining piece of dog excrement and go from a terrible win rate gold player to diamond.
