In all seriousness, I feel like this should be an option. Whether you only want to hear your own Champions VO, or you just don't want to get distracted because the enemy picked Yasuo and you don't have the energy to listen to faux-Japanese for the entirety of laning.
Any chance we'll get this in the new client?

Honestly the newer ADCs and/or their legendary skins have so much VO that they might as well tilt their own supports instead.

I wish there was just an option to force another player's custom skin sounds to be replaced with the champion's original sounds.
Simply because I once had to lane against Super Galaxy Rumble mid, and now I am traumatised for life.

You can mute their emotes, but you cannot mute the non-stop spam whenever they use abilities (or Star Guardian Jinx's incredibly annoying autoattack sound.)
Skins should be purely cosmetic. Being able to annoy your enemies with these awful sound effects feels like an unfair advantage.

Any time the opponent starts spam-taunting, I just mute the champion voices. It kinda sucks, because the only thing I want to vote is their laugh.
I can't stand Riven, Lux, Jinx and Yasuo.

You can. But it mutes announcer volume as well. There is a voice volume bar.
