Pantheon support

I know what most of you are thinking. WTF is this about. Seriously though. This guy puts in work as support. He has good engage and does damage. Plus his passive allows you to win trades early. His stun is clutch as hell for trades. Use this it and it refreshes your passive then you just E, Q the enemy while you and your ADC continue to gang bang the enemy. Why because you can hit it and quit it with almost little to no cost when you just block dmg like your dodging side chicks [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] and they cant hit you back. You get lvl 6 then just roam around because Pantheon is natuarlly fast Ult behind a enemy lane. Stun them and gang bang other lanes. I personally love this guy as support. Seen it on other teams work just as well. What do you guys think of Pantheon support?

How do you build him?

Start relic shield. This way you can take some extra hits. I usually build offensive black cleaver first and sight stone for vision sense I roam a lot. The cleaver just lets you shred armor for you and your ADC to go more ham. Then after that I go tanky sense most of the time my team needs somebody to soak up hits. Randuins typically, a lot of health and Armor, with some MR. We are in a ADC meta. Now if you want to have full enjoyment and the enemy is full of squishy gummy bears. Then Go full AD with just a sight stone so people don't flame over vision. This guy really has no wrong build unless you go AP. I will not sign off on Ap support Pantheon. I haven't even tried it. For starting ability start W then max Q, E. W stun time is a flat 1 second at all levels. Thats the reason I just only put 1 level into it at first.

I'm all for trying off-the-wall champs. Maxing his W seems to be effective with a Q poke (maxing E last). The main issue is, he's not going to bring what other supports can. Why not run Bard, Braum, or Taric?

You're not doing it for the stun, you're doing it so you have max uptime on your passive since W auto-resets it.
