I do not give a single fuck what kind of support you want.
You dont see me telling you what ADC to play. I just want you to play who you play best.
Now lets make this mutual.
Shut the fuck up.

Do you mean:
"I do not give a single fuck what kind of support you want. "
or
"I do not give a single fuck what kind of support you demand. "
There's nothing wrong with telling the support which support you prefer. This leads to better synergy and a better game experience. However if they DEMAND it, such as "Go Morgana." instead of "I'd prefer a support like Thresh," I'd understand why you would be angry.
Some supports actually do say "Go ezreal" or something similar, so that argument is flawed. However, usually it's the adc because the support's job is to help the adc through early game.
idk why people are acting as though synergy stops at a champion pick
it doesn't matter how well thresh and kalista synergize if the person playing thresh is a newbie at them. at the same time, if that thresh player is highly experienced on a different support there will still be lane-winning synergy if they play them because they understand their champion and what they need to offer to their adc to succeed
No, it's completely valid. ADC stands for ad CARRY. You're out there to feed their sorry butts. Not the other way around. So picking a support that has zero synergy just makes no sense. Whereas there isn't a higher priority of making the adc synergize with the support.
For example, from my experience, Vaynes prefer to duel after they get bork/level 6, so a safer, less aggressive support would work better. But for Draven, you better be picking that Thresh/Leona, because I want my BF sword at 6 minutes
i agree, i hate when ppeopel tell me this shit. like bitch if you want thresh support, YOU pick thresh. I'll pick who i'm comfortable with.
my pref is hard engage supports. pick one of those for me pls XD
some people are support mains, and want to know which support you prefer, because if you think way back there was nid "support" I bet you wouldn't want a nid main taking nid "support" if you are adc. The support likes to know which you prefer, because I know that I prefer certain adcs
This game is about strategy and teamwork. Why play it if you're not going to take into account either of those things?
I agree synergy in bot lane is not the only thing you need to consider as support, but it is not something you should ignore. Picking your support/build should be based on synergy with ADC, what your team comp needs, and what the enemy team comp is. Your ADC should not be forcing you to be a certain support because they are not the only player you will be supporting. The laning phase is only one part of the game.
However playing Morgana every time is not smart either, and you're part of why bronze has such a bad reputation when I see people really trying.
I HATE people that tell me 'oh no that champ sucks, go Leona instead, you'll do better'
If I specifically ask you what kind of support you want, feel free to tell me what you prefer. But I don't give a flying fuck what you think is better. I'm playing what I WANT to play.
And if you say 'pick tanky support, we need a tank', you pick BEFORE me, and then have the nerve to go Shaco... If we're in that desperate need of a tank, YOU PICK A TANK.
I kind of agree with what you're saying but I also don't. See, the problem with choosing whatever support you want is partially based on synergy but also on your overall team composition. You shouldn't choose a squishy support when your whole team is full of squishy champion that aren't made for tanking. You should choose a tank support to fill in your team's weakness. However, I agree that it's best if you play a support that is your comfort pick. Once, I had this little bitch nag at me and threaten to afk unless I played Morgana, and the only reason why I didn't want to play was simply because, well, I suck mad dick at Morg. I ended up dying a ton and that same motherfucker blamed me for it and told me to not play Morg if I sucked at her. Hmm. I just think that you should learn to play a variety of supports, and not just one specific one, and it's recommended for all roles as well. Learn to play at least 3 different supports at a decent level so you can easily fill in for the overall team composition. Though it probably doesn't help your team out either when you scream in caps lock like a bitch and throw away decent advice from someone just because they're in Bronze. Bad synergy=bad communication. On a different note, whenever I play ADC, I honestly couldn't give a damn which support is being used, because I'll adjust my playstyle accordingly if need be. Not sure why others can't do the same.
