spellthief's on GP?
so i just bought gp and was using spellthiefs instead of doran's ring which i see a lot of ppl take on him. now my question is this: Why use Doran's Ring + Cull (not everyone takes cull but sometimes ppl do), instead of just taking spellthiefs.
my cs wasnt good since 1) i suck and 2) i'm new to the champ, but i got tri-force pretty quickly and i had more gold earned compared to cull, just harassing ppl is worth 10 gold and then you combine that with the gp perk of getting bonus gold + in case i missed cs i took the mastery where it gives u like 1 gold when u dont get last hit (at least it's something) and yeah i'm no pro theory crafter but if getting your big items like triforce and ie are most important and not trying to get kills in lane then why don't ppl use this item? you don't have to upgrade it and does a better effect more efficiently than cull since you can also buy refilable pot so now you aren't wasting money on potions every back.
would like to hear why it's not used but doran's ring is and yes i know the ring has more mana regen but that shouldn't be the only variable to take into account right?
