Was Anyone Else Hoping Aatrox's Rework Would've Been Based Off His Lore?
His lore = using a sword that became more powerful for every kill it got. So it'd be like Nasus 2.0, but you would get less stacks on your sword than Nasus's cane.

Personally, what I liked the most about his old lore was his mythical ability to inspire bloodlust in entire armies. To me, this felt like the perfect opportunity to redesign his boring, stat-loaded ult into some unique offensive steroid for his entire teammates, letting them come back from a disadvantage and tear the enemy team apart in a brutal counter-engage. Aatrox could've been one of the only fighters out there with ally utility, which would've been a totally unique direction that would've also been a pretty good fit for his kit, letting him transition from dueling pre-6 to contributing to his team thereafter. By contrast, it doesn't feel like his new kit really makes use of any of his original core elements, even if they had plenty worth preserving.
Thats actually a good idea. I like playing ally support champs but not Supports/Tanks. A fighter support tho would be awesome. But yeah his new kit feels like the same kit with tiny changes. Doesnt even feel like a rework honestly
What is this lore you speak of? [sg-kiko]
that's cool and all but,
kind of almost fits that niche of gaining strength on kills.
it is kind of like that, but it's his qs that become more powerful with every strike... not his AAs..
His old lore was that, before they defined what Darkin were. Now that they've defined Darkin better, we know they're not magical weapons, and instead they're ancient aliens trapped in weapons.
Lame, I like magical weapons. Nasus's cane is magic tho right?
