Calling all rengar mains. Lend me your wisdom

So I have always wanted to play rengar but I am literally ass at him since his rework (just tried him in patch 7.3) it's my understanding he is still quite viable, and I would love to "get gud" at him but I am in need of your guidance as I do not typically play assasins. So here are some questions that come to mind. 1. At what point do I go and counter jungle? I used to at lvl 2 before his rework but it doesn't seem as effective since his ferocity depletes over time.2 When I do attempt to counter jungle what do I do if I can't find the bastards do I wait a few moments or ward up and steal a camp and leave? 3. What do you do when you're behind? Do you build bruiser style? And what items do you take (examples please!) 4. What do you do if all of the lanes are shoved to tower or losing beyond help? Thanks in advance all you bad bitches!

It should be noted I'm not ass at him because of his rework I was awful at him before XD

Can clear buff, wolves or raptors, other buff, then invade at level 3. You can counterjungle (steal camps, kill) well with him since he's pretty much broken. Just get caufield, red smite, warrior, cdr boots or tabis/mercs if needed, ghostblade, then go bruiser or full ad. Sometimes you want cleaver because of tanky enemies that you need to apply passive to. Don't ult too early when ganking because of the alert and yeah. Pretty much everything else will fall in place in few games.

There's some Rengar mains still out there that'll give more in-depth help. Most of us haven't been playing him much since rework failed and not to mention the lack of enjoyment when playing him.
