Basic Azir questions?!

I have been using quite a lot of Azir lately, but after reading articles and watching videos I have some questions? #1 is he still good at higher elos, I mean I'm in bronze but I do Fairly well with him, on the tier lists I see that he is rather low but I can't recall a time I have just blatantly lost my lane. So I guess pt.2 to my first question is why so low on the tier lists? #2 why have I not seen pro players build nashors on him? In most guides it seems core? And once I get rylais with it it seems like you can 1v1 just about any champion. Thank you to anyone who answers and yes I understand I am in bronze and a lot changes at different elos.

Those who play azir are mainly people who understand him well so yes he can be very good in high elo if you have the right skill and understanding to play him.

He's probably so low on the their list because as I said above he requires a great deal of skill, practice and understanding of his kit to utilize him properly so very few people go through the effort of learning how to use him.

Well ranked and professional play are 2 entirely different things so I imagine it's due to the difference in play styles? Just a guess. it could also be because some people don't see a point in nashors, just how 2 high elo people who main the same champion won't exactly use the same build or tactics.

I'm far from being a absolute monster with him, but to me other than a select few matchups he doesn't seem as difficult to me as people say (once again yes I understand I'm still in bronze lol). For example I have far more mastery points with yasuo/zed but I feel like I don't play either near as Well as Azir , yet I feel that Azir is often touted as more difficult.

It can feel that way when your opponents don't offer the sort of challenger that experienced players do. When your opponents aren't all that great all you really need to do is press buttons and it'll likely work out. Of course non of that isn't meant to offend you but it's a fact that in bronze you can typically do whatever you want and still do fairly well.
