It's still going to be an auto-buy against any champion with AP burst. And it's still going to invalidate any champion with AP burst. The removal of AS just means its less attractive for ADC's. 10 MR is nice, but it's still an incredibly strong hybrid AD/MR item.

I have no problem killing assassins with Annie. It just requires one more spell than usual. Same with Diana except she requires 2 more AAs.

Nothing personal, but you're lvl 19. Anyone can burst anyone. Runes make a difference, playstyles make a difference. Especially against a mage like Annie, where you have to respect her range and damage.

Common mistake. This isn't my main. You can tell by checking my match history. Haven't used this account in ages. Got over 1k ranked games last season so I think I have a little experience in this area. I have all the runes. I play Annie and have a rank 5 with her. Mostly play her in promos where she is quite the guaranteed win. Her Q with RoA can easily get through the shield from Maw. She's that strong. And considering the fact that assassins have to get up, close and personal to kill her, it makes her job a lot easier.
