Since Riot doesn't seem to know how to get Galio in a good spot, why not revert his rework? Either he's OP or nerfed to shit, and you just made him even worse now with these current nerfs that don't hit the mark AT ALL.

Having noted that, which parts, specifically, do you think are problematic? I can state firsthand that the Zac and Rengar communities were very vocal and focused about which things were problematic. Reverting, without understanding what about the kit is tough to balance, is definitely a mistake.
So, what exactly do you think needs changing? Is there anything about the new kit you want to keep?
I think changing/partial revert to his W and make his damage reduction into his old on damage heal he had on his W would be nice.
And to not let his W be overloaded and problematic you can put his spellshield on his passive.

he isn't hard to balance Riot just doesn't know what kind of a champion they want him to be
Tank? protector? initiator? mage?assassin? sylas is getting the same treatment every nerf changes his play and build patterns
so it's more of an identity issue than a balance pain
Those are 3 terrible examples. Only Rengar's Q got reverted, most of LeBlanc's kit was extremely similar aside the Q spreads & a different ult, and only Zac's ult got reverted. What's better: None of them were VGU.

I mean old Galio wasn't even possible to balance so they had to keep him perma weak.
Riot would rather remove champions from the game rather than balance them.
In the case of galio, he's not flashy enough so they are removing him.
Galio's not hard to balance. Riot just doesnt know what they want to do with him.
"hey this champion is being played outside of solo lanes! Better buff his damage and nerf everything else!!" No, he's being played Support because he's USELESS ELSEWHERE. Restore his waveclear, restore his tank stats and ... why does his W deal damage since when did it do this? And then buff tank items to be slightly (200-350g) more expensive but have much better stats. Except abyssal mask, just reduce the combine cost on it and remove the CDR tacked on for no good reason please.
Change his ult, it's too powerful in pro play, and hard to use in soloqueue.
