Riot, get your designs and fire them. It was fun before ... when we could chose which champion we wanted. It isn't now. I know people that have waited for urf mode to come back, and they just aren't playing. STOP IT. Get your head out of the sand and stop changing things. WE DON'T LIKE IT! There are at least 5 players I know that just aren't playing any more because you won't let go and leave what isn't broken alone. URF mode was one of the most fun mode played. Now it stinks.

You need to stop messing with the game and leave it alone.

I used to spend real money on the game. I don't any more because you won't leave it alone. Get away from the game. Fire the game designers. They don't need a job ... especially because they can't seem to just focus on what is broken. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

You don't seem to realize something that's incredibly simple.

Simply put, this is NOT URF. This is a completely separate mode, it is not replacing the URF you know and love.

Saying AR URF is URF is like saying One-For-All Mirror Match is One-For-All.

Chess has existed for millennia. It has changed very little in that time. The last change was 200 years ago. League doesn't need to change either

Chess is a relatively simple game with a strict rule set. League is not chess, it is not a simple game as you do not fight someone who has the exact same resources and tools as you do.

Not only is comparing League to chess a faulty comparison, you are ignoring the fact that League is meant to be changing and updating. That's what patches are doing. They change things, fix bugs, cause new bugs, nerf or buff an item or champion.

League is meant to change and evolve. It is not chess and it never will be.

League needs to change, else it would be forgotten.

As for why URF was changed, it simply became stagnant as people kept playing the champions that abused the mode the most and lowered the fun for a lot of other people.

Don't blame Riot for changing URF. Blame the tryhards who wanted to constantly win an alternate gamemode with no real reward beyond IP.

For every player that got tired, there are probably 3 that liked it the way it was. The people I know all liked it before, and now they don't. That is not moving forward, it is moving backward.

Oh, one more thing. Chess is so much more complicated than league it isn't funny. It is probably as much more complicated than league as Go is more complicated than chess.
