Question about how ranked 5 placement works.

Literally, how the shit does this work? My team has made several ranked teams won 2-3 out of 5 games in the placements and still got bronze 5 every single time. Can anyone clarify how that works? I've heard the first game is supposed to be the most important. Though that clearly isn't the case otherwise we wouldn't be b5

Placements for ranked teams is much lower than placement for soloq. I think you get somewhere mid silver if you win all games. That said 2-3 is not a too good score for ranked teams and if you are good enough to be higher it should be easy to carry yourself out since you don't have to worry about the random bad teammate.
