Champion.gg - LeBlanc Middle Stats, Builds, Runes, Masteries and Counters

This is just a though of mine, but why all those nerfs? Why nerfing her after her rework in almost each patch? Wouldn't it be better just to keep her before rework state? I'm seeing Talon, Rengar, Zed, Katarina, one shot like they always did before their rework. But Leblanc needs to wait like 1,5 second to secure a kill? Honestly I find it absurd what is happening to her. She was my main way back in 2014 and still is today, but all those nerfs just make me want to forget she ever existed and not play her anymore. Her play rate and winrate aren't even that high anymore and riot decides to nerf her again? Seriously, I'm tired of this. But her recent nerf on the pbe is making me mad as hell.

Lb is overpowered, she needs every single one of those nerfs.

She has 90% + ban rate in korea for a good reason.

They left some keynotes from reds saying: 'They're starting from extremes and likely not the final values end of pbe patch cycle.'

There is no way they're going to gut her scaling and base damage by 50% on all of her abilities, makes no sense.

They are only PBE nerfs, they almost always go super hard on PBE nerfs and then slowly tone it back over the course of the cycle. Don't get your knickers in a twist, these nerfs won't hit live, it will be a diluted form of these nerfs

Except here they had a first PBE nerf, then decided to nerf it even further in the next PBE patch (https://twitter.com/ricklessabandon/status/834859838756659200)

The same rioter even said they are gonna change W into a mobility skill

It doesn't matter about the second pbe nerf either, you have to see where things are closer to the actual patch. Riot has said that these won't be the final numbers hitting live.

If I'm giving my honest opinion I'd be happy if they made W a mobility spell, but I don't play Leblanc at all so I'm definitely biased against her.

If they make it a mobility spell they should up the minion damage of Q back, and maybe add a little more damage back into Q/E to make up for it.

Should also shorten the CD of it as it shouldn't be maxxed 1st anymore.

Talon getting nefed. Rengo just got a huge nerf. Katarina getting nerfs. Zed's ult combo is actually 3.75 seconds which is more than double LB's

aka squishy mages that generally can't afford Zhonya's until very late into the game.

Watching a Zed from afar poof to you from outside of (for example) Sona's maximum ult range and then delete you, usually without even the need for deathmark, doesn't give him 3.75 seconds of counterplay. Even after he ults, if he has flash, he can return to outside that range easily, and if done smoothly enough, he can get away with doing that to you despite the fact that you are literally surrounded by your team.

Maybe I wouldn't be so salty if it wasn't so hard to time anything to save yourself or punish the Zed, but I suppose that's just the fault of Zed's kit.

He should still have to ult you, even to kill Sona, unless he's fed to the point where ANY champ would delete you from the fog.

Just buy the Zhonyas. You're insistence on following your cookie cutter builds isnt an excuse. You're actively choosing to not hard counter him. Thats your fault, not the champions. And Zed doesnt delete shit without his ult unless he's ridiculously fed. You're just making that up

That would be true if buying a zhonya over a redemption wouldn't cost your team alot considering you're getting the item late. While I do agree that this should be the way to go, doing it will cost your team much more then it will help it. there are alternatives to fight a zed but even then, its pretty bullshit that I can dodge his q and just with the e and some aa's, he can still kill you with the mark. Now you're most likely going to use the arguement "its only if hes fed hurr durr burr durr" and while I agree that when it happens it's because he has a decent amount of kills, with the lethality, it's easy to get fed on the ennemy laner if you're good enough.

However, I don't think zed need nerfs but lethality does and this is what can make him snowball easily as long as he has a decent matchup and a decent farm.

Then again, I am basing this from what im seeing and not from facts that have been agreed upon many.

Boots+Eye of the Watchers alone postpones Zhonya's greatly, and neither can be skipped for a mana-hungry support. Even after that, going for Zhonya's eschews extremely important core items, depending on the champion, including items that would greatly benefit the team like Redemption.

Zed definitely deletes shit without his ult without even being fed if the target is squishy as hell.

Rengar nerf is pointless. Better to revert him but Riot will have to figure out on their own.

Zed can pop an adc in a combo within 3 seconds, leaving the ADC dead. He doesn't have to be 20/0 if he has items and the ADC is seperated.

IMO they are going overboard with the nerfs and changes. Ricklesabandon is like a champ executioner....

Here are Leblanc's stats on champion.gg: (FYI with win rate as a example thats 47.7% and she is 37th place out of all mid laners)

Win Rate - 47.7% - 37 / 46 Play Rate - 4.91% - 14 / 46 Ban Rate - 41.24% - 3 / 46 Playerbase Average Games Played - 36.98 - 28 / 46 Gold Earned - 12480 - 41 / 46 Kills - 9.42 - 7 / 46 Deaths - 6.61 - 18 / 46 Assists - 6.63 - 39 / 46 Damage Dealt - 22403 - 31 / 46 Killing Spree - 4.28 - 2 / 46 Minions Killed - 151.84 -45 / 46

IMO they are gutting Leblanc because pros can actually use her really well, but it looks like the majority of us in plat and low diamond cant use her too well....

IMO this data seems to show that Leblanc is a champ with a skill ceiling that is up there with Draven and Zed. Leblanc's numbers are the way they are because the average person in plat and low diamond has used Leblanc for about 37 games. One thing the data i am presenting does not show is that up to 50 games played you can reasonably expect to get 47.7% wins. But if you grind it out and learn how to play Leblanc to the +125 games stage her win rate does shoot up to 70%.

Should riot be Nerfing Leblanc? Isn't nerfing her punishing people who are showing mastery on her?

leblanc is not, so she doesn't deserve the same level of burst because she has an easier laning phase

I remember when Le Blanc rework came out, I was actually pretty hype. It looked fun to play, had a lot of juke moments, the global ult potential was hilarious. I figured I'd wait until I really got into that aspect to full tilt learn le blanc, or at least until the trainer came out so I could practice combos.

Welcome to my world cupcake. Leblanc is getting nerfed for the same reason Kassadin was nerfed, she is absolutely broken in the hands of high level players, which is why her ban-rate in Korea is topping 90% right now.

Yes i feel the exact same way. Its bs that ranger and talon can just come out of a bush and 100-0 you and katerina may take a bit more time but she does it relatively quickly. But leblanc has to wait a full 1.5 seconds. Its stupid and i really think riot should revert the rework or at least rework the passive sigil of malice. Riot seems to want to make leblancs early game into the hardest thing you can do. And if you don't get like 2 kills drinking the laing phase and roam perfectly you have a very hard time winning.
