Katarina in the assassin update

I've heard about the assassin update coming up this year and I've been thinking a lot about Katarina. I really appreciate that champion, but what brings me here is, "Will Katarina have any changes in the assassin update?" She's fun to play and her skins are really well made but I like how her current kit is made. So if she will have any changes in her kit in the update, will she keep her shunpo? Or will she get passives in her spells? I got a lot of questions in my head about her.

Same, she was mentioned as i high chance for a rework, im kinda excited for it tho

She's probably getting changes but no1 has said anything abt them yet. Meddler said the reworks won't be released till probably preseason so it'll be awhile ...

So far Riot has said a few things about Kat and the upcoming reworks, so I'll post those comments here for ya

Reav3: Still haven't locked down we will be working on yet, but I would say that Kat would be a great champion for a roster scope project, likely on the larger side.

When asked what was likely to change about Kat, he replied:

Reav3: Not sure where the team will go yet, but I would agree that her Q and W are probably the best candidates to look into. Her W in particular isn't very interesting at the moment and has a lot of overlap with other champions/abilities in the game.

So far it looks like Shunpo will still be a part of her. Personally I do agree that her W is very uninteresting, and her Q is meh as well. Hope this gives you an idea of what's on riots mind atm about Kat. She's definetely gonna get worked on though, so that question is answered already.
