Them patches back in season 7 on Nasus was absolute bs he is now pickes so frequently and is such a hassle to deal with and if u dont have enough dmg such as a tank top like Maokai Nasus can legit farm without taking any dmg the guy is completely unfair the q cd is nuts and his slow is complete nonsense the champ needs to be nerfed or I will just continue to ban him Every game.

Yes, nerf that 50% win rate Juggernaut. Who needs to learn how to play against champions anyway, just nerf all the strong ones into the ground.

How do you play against him, huh? I've tried to use every supposed "counter" and they don't do anything. Really, give me a checklist and I'll scroll through it. Because currently the only counter that works is a ban and I hate it. So much hate.

I could give you a list of things I personally do, but I've done this dance before. You'll nit pick until every point has been made unarguable, not because they are wrong, but because you found little flaws and possible outcomes that make the reality impossible to argue.

So instead I'll just link to a game in my match history, and let you look at it yourself. That way if you're just here to argue I don't actually have to write out an argument, and if you're here for a little info you'll have more than enough.

Apprehensive strawman? I like it. G'day, then.

Not really a strawman. I'm not giving the appearance of arguing against you, while arguing against something else, I'm voicing an assumption about how I think you'll act if I actually present an argument.

The whole reason I'm being apprehensive is because I don't want to argue. I've been in too many arguments of this type where every point I could make, and every bit of information I could share from my personal experience, was ignored. I've been burned one too many times trying this, so instead of presenting an argument I presented an example.

Now try using that exact same quote on the overbuffed Ornn...

See, I left myself an out by specifically mentioning Juggernauts. Tanks are very, very different.

He has a 52% and does not need much skill to play against different champs? And you don't see my saying nerf the other juggernauts just Nasus.

They actually should nerf his early game. The ultimate CDR reduction is way too strong at level 6. They should move that to level 11.

Except he gets completely shut down by QSS

Players shouldn't have to buy an item for 1 specific champion. Saying that's a solution is stupid and needs re-evaluated.

It isn't that different than having to purchase Grievous Wounds against heal-oriented champions (i.e. Mundo, Warwick, Soraka).

While it being a good solution is debatable, it is currently the intended solution.

Tbh the grevious wounds addition just shows riots inability or refusal to actually balance healing in the game. Case and point lifesteal was too high last season so the put it on thornmail aswell

You aren't going to see me disagree with that.

The only thing Grevious Wounds does is ensure that healing values will either be overwhelming (pre-reduction) or underwhelming (post-reduction).

Many healing sources don't really have a middle-ground.

The items that give Grievous Wounds has stats that also work against anything else. QSS only has magic resist, which doesn't help much against a Nasus because his Q is physical damage. Sure you mitigate E and R a bit, but you're still getting the cane shoved up your bum.

Also, I'm not going to buy a QSS on say a Maokai or Malphite, that would be stupid because I'll eventually have to sell it because they don't buy item 3139

Generally, the enemy team is going to have some source of magic damage or other sources of CC which QSS will help against. It is very, very rare to see a team completely lacking magic damage or stuns.

Lack of upgrade only becomes an issue in the late-game as everyone approaches max items. At that point, Maokai and Malphite would be grouping with their team and won't particularly care if Nasus Wither's them (as it means their ADC will have free reign).

If you refuse to adapt to deal with an enemy, then you refuse to win.
