Well this "higher than normal latency" aka 5x normal ping really puts a damper on things. Why was it just the southwest? I really wonder why a company like Riot would still have server problems like this. I mean don't they have like a billion dollars stashed somewhere? That could go to perhaps... better servers.

  1. Servers are frequently not the cause of server issues (as odd as that sounds).
  2. Money isn't an instant fix for problems.
