What if 3-hit and 4-hit passive champions like Xin, Riven, Kennen etc got hit-counters like Annie's?

That way, both the player and the enemy can know the correct times to engage/disengage with these champions. If Riot can do this to all the multi-hit passive champions, I honestly believe the champions can become both more skill-based (adds counter-play) and also easier to learn for less experienced players (adds ease of use).

I don't think counters are required so long as it's made clear that the third hit will connect next. Clarity!

For example, TF is fine. When he has his enhanced auto, he gets the ring of cards. Yasuo is fine on this front; on his third Q, he becomes shrouded in wind and a very distinct sound is heard.

The only champions you listed I think could use a clarity change like this are XinZhao Jax Kennen. But they shouldn't be done in the form of a counter bar, like Annie has.

Kennen's shuriken glows with lightning when his next auto will apply a mark of the storm.

Does it? Maybe I overlook it since his model is so tiny.

Thanks.

Gnar? Ekko? They leave circles around their enemies like Vayne does. Surely that's clarity enough.

I don't even understand why Riven is listed here. Does she have a 3-hit passive? Or are you talking about her innate passive, which causes her next auto attack after she casts a spell to deal bonus damage? (Because she gets a glowing green effect on her rune gauntlet when she is going to do that.)

My best guess it that they are referring to Broken Wings, her Q. The first two procs of the spell only move her forward and deal damage, whilst her third proc will knockup the enemy she lands upon.

Many of them do in some way, those that don't get a small enough bonus from the attack that it isn't worth adding a graphic that makes the screen busier than it already is.

The timing of Annie's stun is incredibly important for both the Annie and the enemy to know, maybe even more important than whether or not her ult is up.
